This is known as a 'Scaracen Tower'. Looks very interesting, but it is privately owned, and when the owner isn't open the place is locked and there are no information boards that you can see from the road that tell you anything about it. Shame. In my view heritage is the right of everyone to know about - so please put a board up telling people about the place.

It is not located far from the main ruins. It is not big but it deserve some pictures. It is not necessary to pay to see the place.

The construction is suggestive. There are no presentations of any kind. It happens to find the lawn surrounding it full of waste. The tower cannot be visited inside.

No access to the ruin, it can be viewed from the street. No informational signs at all and you are not even sure if you found the right place. The main ruins in the archaeological park in Paestum are so great, I wouldn’t worry about visiting this tower.
