Small family run winery near the bed and breakfast where we stayed. It was a nice little tour. Pretty modern (no oak kegs) - mostly white wines. The girl who gave the tour (who is a family member) had pretty good english and was very knowledgable about the wines. It was a nice way to spend a couple hours on a drizzly afternoon. It was only my son and I so it was a nice private tour set up by our B&B. You could also have served a tour that included lunch.

It was harvest season, so no tour, but the wine was superb. We were given several samples of wine, no cost, reds and whites. Very friendly and informative staff. We bought several bottles to take on our travels.

Our tour guide brought us to Custodi Winery for a tasting after our tour of Civita Bagnoreggio. We opted not to take the tour of the winery as we were a bit late leaving the tour of Civita. Laura, the daughter of the owner hosted the tasting, was very knowledgeable about the wines, and a delight to speak with. The wines are fabulous, we bought bottles several to take with us and also ordered one with our dinner at a local restaurant in Orvieto.

We stopped by Custodi and had a tasting but did not do the winery tour. Very friendly and welcoming and the wines were fantastic! And the prices were great and made us sad we couldn't bring a case or two home with us :-)

This winery is a nice stop in your travels across Italy. Beautifully situated among rolling hillsides in a locality called "Canale". The folks at the winery love visitors, and they speak English quite well (as do most Italians). Greatest memory of my visit here is sitting out on the front porch with the owners and having a glass of their Belloro white while enjoying some excellent cheese, good conversation, and basking in the sun (but cooled by mountain breezes). Pure bliss and quiet, and totally relaxing.

Very knowledgeable English speaking lady gave us thorough information about the four wines we tasted. We did not go on a tour of the place so I did not know if they make any but the four we tasted. I particularly liked the dry white. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

Very friendly sisters gave us a tour and information. If you are staying in the area a while, you can bring your wine jugs back in to refill with table red or white!
