I am not commenting on the potential for hiking or biking, but the view and the ambiance at the top. For those visiting for the first time, know that there are three small towns in Val Gardena, which are, going south to north, Ortisei, Santa...More

Taking this ride up the mountains is spectacular. There is a small jungle gym and swings for kids. I did not hike, but would have if I did t have my little ones with me.

We hired the electric bikes and took them up the bubble lift. Enjoyed a full days cycling and then called at the bar for a couple of aperols. Great day out. Great service but quite expensive

The Alpe Di Siusi - it's a large mountain meadow which reminded me of the first view of Hyrule in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Gently rolling landscape with a lot of areas visible, many paths to take and explore. You can get...More

Wonderful easy ride up the mountain from Ortisei. €12.50 (one way) hike around the valley once you reach the top. Enjoy lunch and a beer. Then follow signs for trail #15 back to town. Took us a bit over an hour. Trail is well marked.

At a reasonable price (around 18 Euro for a return ticket) the cable car brings you to about 2000 meters. Stunning views of the mountains surrounding the Seiser Alm and plenty of hikes available in this 48 km2 area. All not very demanding and with...More

It's worth it when you get to the top, and then start skiing or hiking. The views are exceptional and the air is crisp and clean. The quiet is overwhelming.
