Located outside main villages, but absolutely worth to see the chapel. You can drive there from Ortisei or walk. There is a nice view on Dolomites. There is also a small cemetery next to the chapel. Very quite place for contemplation if you need it or nice walk.

The walk from Ortisei to San Giacomo starts near the main Catholic church - follow Str. Sacun until you see a sign called the "Dialog" way on the left. It goes up through a gravelly path eventually leading further up the hill along a large muddy track. Make sure you have good shoes and make sure you pace yourself - it's uphill all the way to the church so don't rush it. When you get to the church it's worth it - there's a small rise next to it, go up and take some photos of the church with the Dolomites in the background. When we went, the church was closed so I have no idea of what's inside. Still, worth the photo! Going back to Ortisei is super easy, it's downhill all the way and it took me just 30 minutes.

The hike from Ortisei towards the Church of San Giacomo is not a simple one, it takes some condition to walk this path. But the church is worth every step you take. Can highly recommend to visit.
