We visit local churches for the feel of the local culture but this time, the visit took far longer thanks to the beautiful, life-like carvings for which Ortisei is known. A must-visit.

Can't miss this little church as it is in the main piazza of Ortisei where buses stop. Nice, small church where one can say a little prayer and be thankful for the beauty surrounding the place.

Well worth a visit, in the very heart of Ortisei. Absolutely stunning interior. Can be accessed (out of hours), by one of the side doors .... obviously for locals & to keep out Tourists :-))

This church served as our skyline landmark to orient us within Ortesi. The turkish-style steeple is easy to spot when entering Ortisei, and serves as a guide as to where you are in the city. The church exterior is well kept and visually pleasing. We...More

Arriving there on sunday the church was packed with people for the sundaymass. Impressed compared to our country. We went back in the afternoon and spend some time watching sculptures, paintings etc.... Worth a visit.
