Over the last 10 years I have been on this telepherique many times whilst skiing from the Albergo Ronce. It is an exciting lift of of 730 m over a distance of 2 km. The views are excellent and as you come up to the face of the Dolomite mountain you get an excellent view of the geology of this mountain. For an explanation see the description in the Ladin Museum in Ortisei. In winter there is excellent skiing down to the underground cable car system which leads down to a big people interchange "square" and more lifts and more skiing. Or take the bus to Monte Pane and thence to Alpi de Suisi and still more skiing. Access to the Seceda lift is across the bottom of the Saint Antonio Square, thence along a dead end street to an escalator, then moving people belts, around a corner, and onto a chairlift taking you up to the base station of the Seceda lift.

Amazing views at 2500m..The cable car ride was super fun and really gave us a good view of the Dolomites. It cost us €34 but the view up top was surely worth more..

Seceda is one of the highlights of my Dolomites trip. There is the lift from near the centre of Ortisei which takes you up to the top if the mountain. To get to the top you need to catch 2 lifts - the first a small gondola and the second a much larger standing up lift. The view from both is great especially from the upper one. The view from the top to Sella and Sassalungo is wonderful on a clear day. It's definitely a must visit while in Val Gardenia.
