we had seperate private ski & snow board instructors for 3 days. expensive but well worth the money, both instructors were very good at assessing our level & requirments for improvement. built our skills, confidence & knowledge of the area. very friendly & punctual. flexible to go to new areas & took our snowboarers to the snow park for a bit of fun. i would definietly recommend.

Excellent ski school especially for children! We've used this ski school too for ourselves a number of years when we were learning to ski and they have always had great instructors who were friendly and very competent! On this trip we used it for our 4 year old son! He absolutely loved it! They pick the children up in the morning at 9.45am at the Alpe di Suisi ski lifts and they take them down to the slopes in a yellow ski snow truck which my son loved. They teach them basic ski techniques such as snow plough in a fun way in a separate part of the slope. Then they pause for snack then they continue through to lunch time. On 2 days the 'Principianti' (level 1; level above baby level) do 2 full days. They take them to Hotel Sole at lunchtime and they all have lunch together and then they continue skiing. For us this was a great service as not only did it mean we could ski ourselves all day but also our son is a fussy eater and he never really wants to eat but with the school they managed to get him to eat a full bowl of pasta every lunch time. By the 4th day we couldn't believe they had managed to teach my son to ski down a small red slope and he could take the standing ski lift by himself! Such an amazing achievement after only ever skiing once (1 week last year) before this holiday! They have also a finale galore on the last day and award the children with medals which went down well for all the kids! The teachers were amazing! Anna and the other instructor (sorry forgotten his name) were particularly great! Our son at the end of the holiday said "I don't want to go to my school anymore I just want to go to ski school"!...Thank you Anna & team!!

We were recommended Saslong Ski School by our hotel (Hotel Grien). One of the ski instructors attends the hotel each Saturday night to discuss individual or group lessons. We were able to book the lessons but unfortunately they only accepted cash payments at the hotel. I had to go to their ski school office to pay by credit card before the lessons. This was not an issue as when I arrived all the paperwork had been completed and ready for us. We booked a four day group lesson. This was two half days (Monday, Wednesday) and two full days (Tuesday, Thursday). These were full days and in fact we did get longer lessons. On the first day we were part of a large group. We all went through a ski assessment and were placed in appropriate groups. This certainly worked well as our group were about the same level. We had Patrick as our instructor. He has so much patience, knowledge and skills in skiing and importantly in teaching. He is one of the best instructors we have had. We felt totally safe throughout but were appropriately pushed to improve our skiing skills. Because of Patrick we have improved our skills and confidence that will make us enjoy skiing more.

My husband and I booked into 4 days of ski school in Ortisei through Crystal. For information Advanced ski school (anyone who is not an absolute beginner) starts on a Monday and runs to Thursday Monday and Wednesday are half days and Tuesday and Thursday are full days to allow for skiing further afield. We were split into different ability groups and the classes were small in numbers. Alexander led my husbands group (I understand they had laugh alongside the serious learning) and Markus led my group where I learnt about the evolution of the Dolomiti area. Both instructors spoke good English and there was a mixture of nationalities in the groups. Despite skiing for a number of years we both feel we benefited from the excellent tuition and would recommend the ski school.
