This is a beautiful church just below Montepulciano. It can be seen from the road when you aproach the town, its too far to walk especially in summer so drive down and you can park right otside. The Church is in fantastic condition with large grounds.

The church is beautiful and I agree with another reviewer in that it is quiet and very spiritual. The history of the temple is interesting and is worth a trip there. The town has done a good job with providing enough information inside the church. Bring your iPhone and install a QR scanner. Don't attempt to walk from the town,... More

This church is a must see when traveling through the area. It is beautifully preserved and positioned. Not loaded with tourists, feels very personal and spiritual.

San Biaggio is a beautiful and frankly iconic landmark to start your exploration of Montepulciano. other than the interior, do take a slow stroll around its grounds as you will be greeted with beautiful flowerbeds at the right season!

Stunning views of the Tuscan landscape from this area. Huge, old church, worth the stop. Some families were picnicking on the grounds, plenty of land for the kids to run off some energy.

This is a beautiful church at the foot of the hill below Montepulciano. It is also an important landmark visible from many points both in the town of Montepulciano and the road from Pienza. Well worth a visit.
