a trip on the gondola, followed by the ski lift was well worth the journey. Lovely views and seeing all the mountain bikers on the downhill run!

The lake and its direct area are really superb! It offers Miscellaneous activities: biking, trekking, swimming, viaferrata, etc. The view of the mountains around the lake is unforgettable. It is however a very popular place for August vacations and the place is very crowded. Avoid...More

Tucked away and ravishing - I think it is more special than Garda because it has an intimacy and the setting is spectacular. We enjoyed a picnic beside the lake and then visited the village.

It is an easy walk round the lake. Information boards. Several seats but much of the walk is wooded so you do not see the wonderful views.

Beautiful lake, well worth a trip if within 100 Km. Plenty to keep children and adults alike happy. Title "Jewel of the Dolomite's" well deserved.

We went at Christmas... I think the lake looks amazing drained. It's like walking on the moon as you walk on the lakebed. But I must admit that if I were going in Summer I'd wait until it was full so that I could go swimming. More
