Tourists - here's where you'll find everything you need

A typical thing to happen when you travel to Sicily is that your airline will lose your luggage. This mainly happens because there are few direct flights to Sicily (especially from America). Not to worry, everything you need can be found at Parco Corolla. When we had no clothes, toiletries or shoes when our luggage was lost for 5 days, Ipercoop and Piazza Italia saved the day. Ipercoop is like Target and Piazza Italia is like H&M. We found everything we needed, plus good Sicilian wine for 3 Euros. We went there again on our latest visit even though our luggage wasn't lost. It's a convenient place to shop, and is probably the most mall-like place you'll find in Sicily. Right in the middle is a thousand year-old building next to McDonald's, so you can get some history there while you shop and eat. Only in Italy!
