All around amazing. Capo milazzo is an enormous area that cannot be summarized in one review. Most importantly read up on the geology of this area before visiting and you'll get a lot more out of your visit.

Although one has to walk to reach this sanctuary but it is worth the visit. Do not visit after dark as it will be dangerous. It is peaceful place and a must see.

The charming little church is just a good starting point for the beautiful trail that takes you along the see. After a 15 minutes walk, you get to the natural pool - "piscina de revere" where you can enjoy the clear water.
Then, climbing to the lighthouse among the olives trees you can have a good look at the Aeolian Islands

It's a tiny chapel built inside an ancient natural cave: the ceiling is remarkable as it shows the real pristine rock. But nothing more than this. Still it's worth a visit for the beautiful landscape that can be enjoyed from the balcony just outside the chapel, not to mention the very best: the top of Cape Milazzo and its astonishing surroundings!

A little church hidden in a cave in a cliff. The views of the sea from the place were amazing. Approx 6 km from the center of Milazzo.

We took a drive out to Capo Milazzo not really knowing anything about the site in advance. What a great find....outstanding views and all for free. We walked around the grounds at our leisure and thoroughly enjoyed the area.

Walking on the path ahead to the left of the cafe (as opposed to restaurant) take you to the faro/lighthouse and at the end of the peninsular a delightful rock pool dedicated to Venus.
A hundred yards or so before this is a rough but scenic path to the west which leads down to the shoreline and back to near the cafe. Well worth the effort - takes about an hour.
