Parking is €10 for a car for the day/evening. Be very wary of paying more, they will try to charge you extra, sometimes €15, even €20, just laugh at them and say you know it's €10, they will eventually give it to you for €10, after suggesting you go up the hill and park there for €2. They will offer to park your car for you but I'd suggest parking it yourself and keeping your keys on you, don't leave valuables in your car or anything in sight just in case.
Le Sirene is the best value meal we had, lovely seafood and lovely service, but prebook for weekends or large groups. Avoid Cantuccio as it's overpriced and not great service.

I have been spending my summer vacations here over the last 56 years and since 1965 I am a resident. Therefore my perception of this gem is strongly biased. The past somehow obliterates the present. It was a fishermen village and nowadays is trying to become a toristic resort with a well defined personality.... failing, badly failing.... You cannot put together refined or at least self-declared refined restaurants and a camping which accepts everybody playing loud and disturbing music till very late at night, or allow everybody to disturb with loud music and noise
You cannot conjugate small beaches with mass tourism or no parking places with loads of daily commuters...
Therefore if you want to visit, come here in late September or in May... when the camping is closed, the restaurants are not overcrowded, the beaches are empty and the water is still warm enough to allow a good swim. Rediscover the pleasure of old fashioned (not highly priced, nouvell cucine parvenues) restaurants such as Lo scoglio, or Esterina or Le Sirene. Enjoy the pleasure of a sunbath at Mary's Beach or rent a boat a la cooperativa..... and rediscover paradise

Loved it, loved it, loved... the water was perfect and clean! the landscape, mountain and sea...is beautiful.
Big plus, it has so many eateries for you to choose.
We took a local bus from Termini to Marina del Cantone. Simple and easy, bus fare: €1.20.

Terrible place, very unfriendly staff, a specially the parking persons. They are very ruth and do not realize that guest that make the effort to visit this place are paying a contribution yo the local economy. My advice: don’t go there, there are better places to go in the area!

Marina del Cantone is an oasis on the Amalfi coast. A throw back in time. Winding roads lead to this cove/beach town. The pebble beaches give way to the warm waters of the Mediterrean. We rented a VRBO house that was fabulous. There are several restaurants for dinner. Lo Scoglio was our favorite. Boat services that run to Capri, Sorrento and Amalfi. S. Antonio boat service is the best. It's a great launching point to see the Amalfi by water. The people are warm and friendly. There is parking but it is limited. We had a driver bring us there and took the bus to Sorrento. Overall, I highly recommend this town.

We visited this beach at the advice of our hotel staff. The beach was was great- water was clean just make sure you have beach shoes or flip flops to better manage the rocks. The only caution is the parking attendant when you arrive. To park and see the sign with the hourly rates, you have to pull the end the street in front of the beach entrance and go up a small hill. When we arrived, the parking attendant asked us to leave the car at the bottom of this short path and told us parking was 20 Euro. We agreed as there is no other parking lot and the streets was full. When we went to retrieve our car, we walked up to the attendant booth and saw the posted rates which were much less that what we were charged. When we brought it to his attention,he tried to brush us off by saying those rates were for residents. I pushed the issue because there were two rates posted- resident and non-resident and insisted that were were scammed and overcharged even as non residents. He assumed we were Americans and didn't expect that not only am I fluent in Italian but have visited this area frequently and have local family here. Another couple waiting for their car overheard our discussion and after loudly telling him he was scamming tourists, we both received a refund of about 5 Euro. We were still charged more than we should have but it was the best we could do and being able to expose him on TripAdvisor will hopefully help others.

A lively beach with a range of boating activities. We hired a paddle boat for €20 per hour and peddled a little way along the coast to an adjoining beach, but you can also hire self drive dinghies or charter a boat to take you to Capri or Positano. Parking is good. We parked a little way up the hill for €15 and caught a free shuttle bus down and back. There is a range of decent eateries and sunbed hire is €20 for two beds and an umbrella. Beach is very rocky with a steep slope so take some beach shoes. Quite pricey all in all and in my view not quite as nice as Puolo. Still, a lovely day on the beach.

We've been coming to Marina Del Cantoni for 10 years. We like it because the British do not come here and that means excellent standards and real Italian food. There are around four hotels, eight restaurants and two small bars selling drinks and ice creams. From here there is so much to do including trips to Capri & Positano. You can hire your own boat and explored the nearby islands and Amalfi Coast. The resorts restaurants are excellent how many hotels provide good standards. If you love good quality food try the restaurants into the hills which also have Michelin stars Along with local food and wine. This is our paradise, please respect it and do not spoil it.

One Wednesday afternoon when our wives were visiting Sorrento, My Friend David & I decided to have a walk around Marina del Cantone to see what we could find, we soon discovered a steep set of steps heading towards the beach, the weather was windy with the occasional shower.
On arriving at the beach we spotted a small beach bar to our left, soon we heard an italian voice beckoning us in, nobody else was on the beach, after a short debate David & I decided to enter the resturant/Bar.
The owner (Daro) had his coat done up tight was sheltering from the latest shower with his wife and work collegue just to make sure that if anybody did drop in they could service their needs.
David & I sat and had a beer and started to get in to conversation with Dario, we went on to drink several beers and chat away managing to cover the language barrier all afternoon.
We agreed to return the following evening with our full party of 14.
On arrival it was obvious a big effort had been made to make us welcome, the resturant had been closed to others and extra staff (who could translate) taken on for the evening.
We all order our first course which was soon served and nobody was dissapointed. Dario recommended the shrimps with salt & pepper and soon after trays of shrimps arrived for everyone to sample, as prommised they were divine. The main course was ordered and again the food servered was stunning. The service throughout was impeccable for such a small resturant. A great night was had by all. If you visit Marina del Cantone it is a great idea to find Dario and his resturant as a warm welcome with great hospitality is assured

We ended up in Nerano by accident but it was the highlight of my Italy experience. Locals are warm and friendly, the food was absolutely amazing. If you are up for a physical challenge then try the kayaks and explore the Amalfi Coast at a fraction of the price.
Public transport was a huge let down but thanks to friendly locals we managed to get back to Massalubrense safe and sound.

Se si pernotta alla spiaggia, la sera è possibile fare qualche passeggiatina nei dintorni? Mangiare un gelato, vedere qualche negozio?

Thanks!

We are hiring a car from Naples airport for our week long visit in Marine del Cantone. Is there plenty of parking in the village

There are a couple of car parks in the centre, ok for short stay but not sure of costs for longer stay. We had parking with our accommodation.
Volevo sapere se c'è disponibilità per 2 persone dal 17 agosto al 21agosto. Grazie

Hi everyone. Are there towels and lockers for hire? Also, are the changing rooms? Thank you!

I'll answer my own question since we were there today. They sell towels on the beach. There are lockets and changing rooms. Clean toilets too. We were called out at Africans.
