Donnafugata tour: "The Leopard" places in Santa Margherita.. (5 Replies)
Does anyone know anything about this tour, supposedly run by Sicily Travelnet, from Agrigento that takes you to places mentioned in "The Leopard" ? Has anyone experienced the tour?

Short winery tour with a kid? (1 Replies)
Hello, We are coming to Sicily soon. Our company is 4 adults and 1,5 year child. I wonder if we still could get chance to visit winery with a kid. I was looking for short tour/visit (like 30 min) and not expensive (like 5 euro/person). So far I found Donnafugata that might suit our needs: tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g194817-d2… Maybe somebody would have other suggestions?

Do you want a winery tour, or just a tasting? You could contact a winery for a tour, indicating that you're short on time. Otherwise, you might enjoy tasting at an enoteca - For example: tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g187891-d4… Vagabonda

Ragusa and Donnafugata from Siracusa (3 Replies)
Whilst I plan to visit Noto as a day trip from Siracusa, I'm also keen to visit Ragusa and the Donnafugata castle. Whilst there are bus and train options from Siracusa (it looks like the 10.10 is the earliest train from Siracusa - I assume some buses go sooner, not sure where to check bus timetables), it looks as though buses from Ragusa to Donnafugata are less frequent. Trenitalia suggests there's a bus that leaves Ragusa at 12.20 and gets to Donnafugata at 12.50. However I heard the castle...More

Thank you :) In August, it looks as though the castle is open until 7pm every day except Monday. That makes things much easier! I will check with them anyway. Trenitalia only shows a few buses going from Ragusa to Donnafugata per day. Are there buses more frequent than this? If I took a bus from Siracusa to Ragusa, would I then pick up the bus to Donnafugata at the same place? If I took the train to Ragusa, would it then be trickier finding the bus?
