Wanted to rent a kayak for a couple of hours to explore Lake Garda, it was super easy they have both an online booking form but also you can just ring up. Gave excellent advice and good parking, toilets, changing rooms etc on site. Would definitely recommend to all!

Our two 9+11 year old boys had 12 hours in total of beginner sailing lessons. We were able to split these flexibly over 4 days. Both boys had a great time, made very good progress and left excited to return next year for more lessons thanks to their experienced instructor John and the entire friendly team around Alison. As parents we also appreciated the beautiful setting in the local yacht club over a nice coffee and food.

Excellent, we hired a kayak for an hour. No fuss, no hidden extras, kind, down to earth, good communication, spoke excellent English.
Lovely place to kayak from. Easy (cheap) parking, good facilities. Highly recommended.

My husband and friends went kayaking in 2014 on the morning of the wedding.
We decided to give it a go! (I’ve not kayaked before).
We called in the morning and booked for 4 single kayaks.
On arrival Charles was brilliant, he gave my husband the details of the best place to park (it was a sailing day so the car park was full).
We completed the paperwork and stored our belongings.
we were ready!
We went on the lake and had a brilliant time. The lake was fresh! We gave each other goals.
Overall, brilliant family outing.
Thank you Charles and your wife! Brilliant!

A unique advantage of Europa Surf and Sail is the location at the Yacht Club Malcesine bringing a lot of professional atmosphere and sailors of all levels and boats to this place. When not on the water, you can watch teams at their training. The ESS venue consists of several overseas containers which have been adapted to an office and storage compartement. Showers, toilets, restaurants etc. are to be found in the nearby Club . The material is well maintained. What I enjoyed the most is the team at ESS. Very professional and motivating, approachable and friendly. The prices, especially for a two hours training sortie on the Catamaran, are very reasonable. In summary, I can highly recommend ESS and for sure I'll come back again.

We showed up without a reservation because my husband said that he was tired of looking at the lake and wanted to "get on the water". Luckily, we had a car and drove from Malcesine and discovered this place. It has everything that you could possibly want for having fun on the water. We met Marco at the front desk and told him that we had no reservations, asking what he had available. He managed to get us paddle boards for an hour and then a sailing dingy for two hours after that. While rigging up the dingy, we met John, whose knowledge of sailing is extensive. He normally does private lessons, and, lucky for us, he had a free hour, so we booked for him to come out with us for the first hour. My husband has sailed before and knew the basics, but we learned so much from John. It made the experience so much better. At the end of our adventure, I went to pay and their credit card machine was down. I didn't have cash on me, but offered to go back to Malcesine and get it from the ATM and bring it back. Charles and Allison, who own the place, absolutely refused to let me go to all of this trouble. Allison simply told me to do a paypal payment to their account when I had internet at my hotel that night. I mean, who does that? Such lovely, lovely people. I highly reccomend this place. In fact, I am thinking about taking a week's holiday here and bringing our 12 year old son for lessons.

We have spent many happy days at Europa during the last three summers. Alison, Charles and their team run an amazing business with a superb range of kit in pristine condition, offer well chosen guidance or tuition for novices and experts alike and give masses of encouragement. They evidently really enjoy meeting new people and making sure they have a happy memorable experience on the lake.
We have three boys of 8,10 and 12 who are perpetually busy by the lake: they've learned to sail toppers and larger boats and windsurf in the lighter winds, play on SUPs or kayak during the less windy part of the day and occasionally just swim or 'help' with the boats. Highlight of their holiday was a 'pirate adventure' in a catamaran with John.
More importantly Europa have ensured that a very proficient windsurfer has been able to enjoy the full sequence of challenging strong winds and playful lighter winds that this part of the lake offers daily and, amazingly, they've coaxed a bystander parent on to the water where she can now join in with confidence. Thank you!
We had bikes with us and loved the lakeside route from Malcesine though we've stayed closer in the lovely village of Navene before. Its very relaxed at Europa, a more peaceful place to enjoy the spectacular setting. The cafe/bar nearby is handy too though we often took a picnic.
Cannot recommend highly enough!

Went here with a few friends and we all had an excellent time kayaking out on the lake. The equipment was excellent, the launch dock was great and the staff were informed and relaxed. Would recommend here highly.

This lovingly cared-for combination of place, people and equipment brings me back twice a year - usually at the low ends of the season. Spectacular mountains give a good chance of the 'Goldilocks' wind I need in the afternoons (not too much, not too little) but are entrancing in any weather. With 20+ years' commitment to this place and its customers, Charles, Alison and their multi-lingual instructor 'family' always cheer me up (since my windsurfing only does this 3 times out of 4 ...). They buy new sails and boards every year and easily keep non-sailors occupied with suggestions for eating, shopping, walking, mountain-biking or history.

We visited this two separate years and they've been excellent at helping us move forward with sailing. They offer RYA courses (I got level 3 and performance sailing) and do them properly, unlike some holiday sailing centres. They have a great selection of topper/topaz dinghies and hobie cats, as well as some faster skiffs. All of the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and always willing to recommend you a boat based on your abilities. There is a cafe nearby at the sailing centre where you can relax and admire the beautiful scenery when the wind drops.

Hi! Im interested if you also give wetsuit for rent? We would like to windsurf at the beginning of october. What is the price to rent windsurf/wetsuit/windsurf lesson. Thank you!

Thanks for your enquiry - a beginner's board with wetsuit, buoyancy aid and harness costs €22 for an hour and more advanced kit is €34. Insurance is €5 for an hour if you don't have your own. kind regards

Thanks for getting in touch. If the weather is okay, then we stay open until the end of October (from 10am to 5pm) and you can certainly rent windsurfing equipment. don't forget to bring a passport or driving licence with you as ID. if the weather gets really cold, then we will close sooner. Hi there - what are you interested in using? If it is windsurfing, sailing or waszp/foiling and you have no previous experience then you need to take a lesson (lessons). For kayaking and stand up paddling, you can come along and have a go without a lesson.

Hi and thanks for your enquiry. SUP costs €10 for 1 hour and €15 for 2 hours. you need to bring a passport or driving licence with you to make the rental. The price includes the use of our buoyancy aids. We are open every day from 9am to 6pm but the best time to SUP is late morning in between the winds. regards Alison
