Our trip was on 22nd of August with 2 adults and three kids - 7, 5 and 2 and a half. I must have read about 50 review on here and adopted all that advice into our day trip. We stayed in Altomincio Family Park...More
Far reaching and varied views from the top. Went in summer so used the outdoor cafe/bar which had a good selection and good quality.
Lots of different paths you can choose and can spend all day if you like. The views of the lake are...More
We didn’t prebook tickets so had to wait around an hour and a half from 10am. The cable cars are quick and carry around 45 people at a time.
The queues are heavy but it’s definitely worth it, I would’ve regret not going.
Highlight of our trip to Lake Garda with stunning views across the north of the lake and towards the Dolomites. Was just like a scene from a Heidi! Booked the cable car the day before - a must if you want to avoid long queues....More
This is a 'must do' experience. Cable car to the top. From the top you have the most magnificent view of Lake Garda on one side,on the other the dramatic pastoral scenery reminiscent of the Pyranees. Loads of different walking paths- you can even take...More
Yes you can hike up and get the cable car down, you can buy a ticket at the top for one way journey. I did this in 2016 and price was 10euro down. Would highly recommend the hike up. The scenery is stunning all of the way up... More
Yes you can hike up and get the cable car down, you can buy a ticket at the top for one way journey. I did this in 2016 and price was 10euro down. Would highly recommend the hike up. The scenery is stunning all of the way up but don’t take forest route as mo views. I wrote a review on here for Monte Baldo in 2016.
Staying in Torbole for 2 days and want to try skiing nearby! (2 Replies)
Hi Can anybody advise me where is a good place to go Skiing for 2 days at the end of February. I am going with my husband and 6 year old son and we are...More

Welcome to customer service Italian style... Unfortunately, you don't have many alternatives nearby, except for Pinzolo/Madonna di Campiglio, which is relatively close (approx 60 km), but quite complicated to reach by public transport from the lake.

A few Monte Baldo cable car questions (2 Replies)
Hi, First visit to Malcesine and we're planning on going up Monte Baldo with the cable car. * Is there a good website to see the weather forecast (less interested in the temperatures, but more how clear the view is up top) for Monte Baldo? * Is there a website to see live updates on how crowded the queue lines for the cable car are? * We will be travelling with a baby and a stroller - will it be difficult to travel on top with a stroller? and if so - is there a possibility to...More

Thanks for the info! Grass should be fine, I just hope the paths on the top aren't too rocky.
