Incredible height, though you don't realise it. You are amongst the Mountains!! It is a little weather dependant. I think they don't run the cable-car in bad weather. The para-gliding is fun to sit and watch. They just run off the edge of the mountain!!

This is a very popular attraction and is often crowded. The trip to the top involves 2 cable cars each way. At the top there are many beautiful spots for photos and views. Also, this is the launch point for the parasailers floating over the...More

We took a cable car at Malcesine to go up the mountain, and the views over the lake from the top were really spectacular! But there are certain points to take in account before making a decision whether to go to Monte Baldo or not....More

To my opinion the attraction no. 1 in Malcesine. However, be sure to plan your trip. The funivia is popular and there is mostly long lines waiting to try it. There is three stations - one in Malcesine, one half way up to The top...More

Should have read the tripadvisor reviews before going. The que was very long, compounded by some tv filming going on that day. I’m very fair and simply couldn’t stand to be stood in the blazing sun for sun long despite wearing sunscreen. It seems mad...More

Despite the many reviews complaining about the long lines, we went on a Sunday at about 2 p.m. and only had to wait about 10 minutes or so before boarding the lift to ascend the mountain. Not bad at all. Primary parking garage was full...More

We did not buy tickets for the cable cars in advance, and upon reading trip advisor reviews, were prepared for long waits. We only waited for an hour and it was completely worth it! The cable cars are so fun and I don’t think they...More

Sorry ... don’t recall a ticket office at the top. May be possible to buy a 1-way at the bottom and use for descent only. Tourist information in the town should be able to advise.

Staying in Torbole for 2 days and want to try skiing nearby! (2 Replies)
Hi Can anybody advise me where is a good place to go Skiing for 2 days at the end of February. Welcome to customer service Italian style... Unfortunately, you don't have many alternatives nearby, except for Pinzolo/Madonna di Campiglio, which is relatively close (approx 60 km), but quite complicated to reach by public transport from the lake.

A few Monte Baldo cable car questions (2 Replies)
Hi, First visit to Malcesine and we're planning on going up Monte Baldo with the cable car. * Is there a good website to see the weather forecast (less interested in the temperatures, but more how clear the view is up top) for Monte Baldo? * Is there a website to see live updates on how crowded the queue lines for the cable car are? * We will be travelling with a baby and a stroller - will it be difficult to travel on top with a stroller? and if so - is there a possibility to...More
