If you are visiting Lake Garda don't miss this. It's in Malcesine just off the main road and is clearly signposted. Breathtaking scenery and as gentle or adventurous a walk / hike as you wish. Turn left when you emerge from the cable car for...More

If visiting Lake Garda the cable car "Funivia" is well worth a visit. The car turns 360 degrees on the way up and down so everyone gets a view both ways. The views from the top are spectacular both of the Lake and the surrounding...More

Did not do our homework and as such were surprised by the long lines to both purchase a ticket as well as the wait to go to the top. Managed to bypass the ticket line by purchasing on line, wait time for funicular was about...More

Just wish we'd read the reviews first, as it should have been a wonderful day. We chose a beautiful sunny day during the last week of September, like many other people. We purchased the combined bus and cable car ticket for 22 euros, but found...More

Absolute must if you are in Malcesine. Morning lines can be several hours so I recommend going later in day. Round trip can be several hours but so worth it.

If around the area i truly recommend to go there using the funicular from Malcesine. After it reaches the top station is a light walk of 20 minutes to reach the best view all over Garda Lake. The light and view will truly differ along...More

Incredible height, though you don't realise it. You are amongst the Mountains!! It is a little weather dependant. I think they don't run the cable-car in bad weather. The para-gliding is fun to sit and watch. They just run off the edge of the mountain!!

This is a very popular attraction and is often crowded. The trip to the top involves 2 cable cars each way. At the top there are many beautiful spots for photos and views. Also, this is the launch point for the parasailers floating over the...More

Yes you can hike up and get the cable car down, you can buy a ticket at the top for one way journey. I did this in 2016 and price was 10euro down. Would highly recommend the hike up. The scenery is stunning all of the way up... More

Staying in Torbole for 2 days and want to try skiing nearby! (2 Replies)
Hi Can anybody advise me where is a good place to go Skiing for 2 days at the end of February. Welcome to customer service Italian style... Unfortunately, you don't have many alternatives nearby, except for Pinzolo/Madonna di Campiglio, which is relatively close (approx 60 km), but quite complicated to reach by public transport from the lake.

A few Monte Baldo cable car questions (2 Replies)
Hi, First visit to Malcesine and we're planning on going up Monte Baldo with the cable car. * Is there a good website to see the weather forecast (less interested in the temperatures, but more how clear the view is up top) for Monte Baldo? * Is there a website to see live updates on how crowded the queue lines for the cable car are? * We will be travelling with a baby and a stroller - will it be difficult to travel on top with a stroller? and if so - is there a possibility to...More

Thanks for the info! Grass should be fine, I just hope the paths on the top aren't too rocky.
