I would say that 22 euros for a 7 minute ascent and descent is really a lot. I understand that this money is used to maintain the system but in short...
In any case, the view as soon as you go up is wonderful. And the routes to follow are also beautiful. The difference in altitude is there and can be felt for those who are not trained. The Boch refuge is very beautiful.

Comfortable and fast Spinale lifts, accessible from the road and attached to the Soinale hotel (excellent )
Often the less crowded for difficulty of the slopes, are frequented mostly by experienced skiers
I arrive with skis , from the “direct” of Spinale (which together with Miramonti ) is perhaps the most difficult black for slope and snow condition
However the plant

We are not skiers but easy hikers. We took the cable car up and took a few hours hike in the beautiful settings.

During Christmas break we were in Madonna di Campiglio for skiing. Slopes are excellent but chair-lifts and cable railway are so bad organized. Chaos, crowd, everybody is pushing. It would be enough to set up a barrier and regulate the line. My new skis have been destroyed.

Ski all day with great runs. The black runs are nice and empty. Best runs are early in the morning or between 1:00 and 2:30 when the crowds go eat lunch.

The cabin is fine and a return day trip is around EUR 12. The views are spectacular. There are many prepared tracks but the soft hills are most suitable for a walk just anywhere - and you avoid most of the other tourists. No need for heavy shoes or gear for that kind of walk. The restaurant at the top is fine. I didn't try the food but the beer is OK.

Short gondola ride, 8.50 euros one-way. Great views on top. Lovely refugio with good food. 1hour 30minute pleasant walk back down. Gondola shuts 12.50pm to 2pm.

Pinzolo is outstanding for skiers who prefer none or may tolerate some queuing in the lifts, likes more red and black slopes than blue ones and appreciate some cultural surrounding in a old Italian small town instead of a cluster of modern hotels and luxury flats.
The Madonna di Campiglio ski area includes also Pinzolo and gives you more than 150 km of skiing. In Madonna one has to be prepared to queue and constantly look out for other skiers. Good slopes but with much blue or transfer type of skiing pistes.

This ropeway doesn't reach the highest altitude among those who rise from Madonna di Campiglio (it reach 2100 meters), but probably, if you can take only one, is that to be recommended.
In fact, the point of arrival, Monte Spinale, due to its isolated location, allows a circular amazing view, towards the nearby peaks of the Dolomites of the "Gruppo di Brenta" (on the east side), and at the same time towards the most distant peaks on the west, up to the Adamello (3538 meters).
From the upper station of the cable car in the summer pleasant paths allow to reach both the valley floor, and the middle station of the nearby "Funivia Grosté". In winter the upper station is the starting point of the famous ski slope "direttissima Spinale", one of the most difficult and fascinating "black" ski slopes of the eastern Alps; but some "red" and "blue" slopes allow to go down also the less experienced people.
Also, as far I know, this is the only ropeway in Madonna di Campiglio, that allows easily to go down people without ski also in winter. In fact, walking down on the left of the "direttissima" ski slope (be careful!), after about 150 meters a marked route begins, which through a wonderful landscape of snow, huts and woods leads in an hour and a half into the valley.
