A gem, cured and run by volonteers, with a parade of historic uniforms along with models and memorabilia. Do not miss. Dedicate preferably one hour but also a rush visit will be very pleasant.

Loreto is famous for the School of Aeronautico militare and the centre but on the Corso Boccalini is situated the Museo storico Aeronautico. It is worth seeing it. Madonna of Loreto is the patron of those who fly and the pilots.

This is a small exhibition mainly of uniforms for the Italian airforce but also a history of the development of flight from Leonardo da Vinci to space travel. There are a number of models and display items. Of general interest. Free admission and run by volunteers. Worth a quick visit and no doubt the staff would be very helpful if this is of particular interest to you.

The Holy Virgin of Loreto is the protector of the italian air forces.
On the street leading to the Basilica, to your right, you find this little museum which showcases uniforms of italian airmen, from the early days of aviation till now, and other aviation items (part of airplanes, model airplanes, etc).
Entrance to the museum is free (donations welcome); the museum is cared for by volunteers who will gladly show you around.
Nice visit and very helpful attendants.

In the city of Loreto you can visit the military aeronautics museum, which contains the history of more than 100 years of suits, large and small models of planes and tanks, small but well structured. Inside it is possible to carry out a flight simulation with a small altitude. Very helpful staff, I would say that a visit to this museum, which is free among other things, is a must once you are in this town in the Marche region. 🤩🤩🤩

In this Museum, which is located in the heart of the historic center of Loreto, you can retrace the entire history of the Air Force from its beginnings to the present day. Inside there is also a flight simulator and a section dedicated to model planes, and you can also buy some nice gadgets.
Entrance is free but the museum deserves an offer, it is really well done.
