The skiing in Livigno is divided by the valley and the weather. The bubble cars at either end of the valley are efficient in their uplift abilities. The remainder of the lift system is a mix of old and new. One or two of the...More

The whole Livigno area caters for people of all abilities. The lifts are easy to use, are very fast and the wait times are very short, even at peak times. The slopes are well groomed and there are so many that it would take many...More

slopes and runs in very good shape. Lots of restaurants on the pistes. Ski lifts are fast and easy to use... especially for hopping on and off with a snowboard. Stayed in Livigno january-february 2019 and had lots of snow and sun.

Carosello offers very good slopes for skiers and snowboarders. Couple of facilities need to be renewed because they stops a bit too many times. New cabin very performing and great to eat directly in the restaurants within the slopes.

From the top you can go to the deep freezer, the long run down or to the restaurant and have lunch while you enjoy the view

great skiing area, but not directly connected. As soon as one lift close eg due to weather then no possibility to get around without using the buses. Other than that very nice and almost no waiting time.

That you keep your stuff inside during the night is normal thinking unless you are too trusting of the decency of humanity, yes my trust is not that high in humanity because it is not very good.

Well maintained ski pists, comfortable new Carosello 3000 lift. Unfortunately two key skilifts are not covered which makes it rather problematic when cold, windy and when snowing. Pists are wide and steep, excellent.

The terrain is not too challenging but there is a lot of variety. The off piste even 6 days after a significant snowfall is surprisingly fun - still lots of freshies to be had.
