Our boat trip (Lipari - Salina) was not as advertised. In particular we were advised when booking that there would be English spoken - not so! This is a nice trip with a lot of swimming in clear waters. Lipari - Salina. Our 4 and 6 year old loved it. The restaurants in Salina are pricey, but if you think of it, they don't grow everything out there, and transport isn't free. I will start saying that I do recommend touring the islands and watching Stromboli! When we wanted to trek Stromboli we realized the volcano is active and there have been no trekking for the past two months.
