Nice place to visit when doing a "lungo mare" from Lignano di Sabbiadoro. Great view over the lagoon.

We biked here all the way from Pineta. Faro Rosso was a perfect photo stop but keep in mind that there would be other people there too...

I state that we are a family of 4 members plus our inseparable dog (17kg) good reserved is absolutely polite who follows us without a leash quietly everywhere on foot by bike everywhere!
Arrived at the beach we were heavily called by a bather who badly told us that "the dog" could not enter the water "because there are children". Mestizo who lives h24 with me in the office, at home, on vacation, everywhere in short! the criticism did not seem to have to do with his actions or behavior but a priori. Invited immediately after by the lifeguard to move to the baubeach (20 meters away) I collect children umbrellas towel and the 1000 things that you bring when you have small children ... diligently I move. passing next to the pier to get to the beach accessible to the "dog" I am called back in a bad way by 2 different users of the equipped beach that I was skirting. Apparently you can get to the beach or flying (skill not yet developed alas) or just passing by a specific catwalk!
For 2 years we take our small everywhere (having campers we are always traveling) and I must admit that we have never recorded so much aversion to dogs. Basita and really sorry that there are still people like this around!!! A very good dog that does not even approach other people perfectly socialized.mah! The beach accessible then ... in a corner full of debris without lifeguard mah!!! escaped to other shores!

nice place, nice view, mostly silent, not worth going to Lignano to see the Faro Rosso, but once you are there. Historic interest concerning Italian boundary.

Sand sculptures were amazing. Great place to see the lights and get street vendor food. You can walk on the beach or downtown.

The lighthouse is small and unfortunately has quite a bit of graffiti on it. There is a lovely view but nothing else there. See the view if you’re in the area, but not worth a special trip. The beach is very clean and water is lovely.

Good pictures and views on the lagoon. Nice walk on the beach, this is the fairest point of the Lignano peninsula.

We were disappointed. There is really nothing else than what you can see from a photograph. Not worth going there just for this - as we did. We were coming by car from Riviera (also might be difficult to find parking) and wanted to see the boats and the Farro Roso. The boats were fine, but our son almost cried with disappointment with the lighthouse – it is really very small.

We went there on a windy, cloudy day, but it was a nice walk along the beach and the view from the Faro Rosso is really pretty.
