8 Days Guided Tour Bellissima Puglia

Experience the Southern Italy lifestyle with a small group of 25/30 participants only! Distinctive and delightful, with crystalline seas, pretty countryside and endless sunshine, Puglia is a land of natural beauty, warm hospitality and amazing food and wine. A unique, much-loved southern region.<br>Colorful, exotic Puglia is the beguiling and stimulating place, with its own distinctive food, architecture and atmosphere. Its landscapes have an appealingly elemental quality – stark rocks meeting clean beaches lapped by crystal-clear water; gigantic olive trees spiraling up from dark red soil fringed by vivid wildflowers; fragrant pine forests opening onto chalk-white sands. Nature’s colors are bold in Puglia, and man-made shapes are simple – with chunky, cubic houses and conical-roofed cottages dotting the countryside.

A green and blooming LOVELY park (or) garden that is located just outside the historic center of Lecce and connects the new part to the old part of the city. Great place for a short rest and refreshment especially if you are traveling with children.

What a lovely park close to downtown. By entering the place you can see statues of important people who built the city and its history over the time. Walk in here is awsome, so much green and flowers to see specially on spring time. There are a lot of spots to sit and watch birds all around. All that for free. The fountain is also a place where kids have. Great experience.

As above, really nice for a quick regeneration. You won't find many attractions there, but it is perfect for 5-10 minutes break. Restored? Nice, now go back to see rest of the chapels in Lecce :)

I walked quite a long way to see this. Every gate was padlocked and there was no explanation or notices about why. I assumed it was because Matteo Salvini was in town, but why close a park? The protesters were all in the main piazza and it was all very peaceful. I walked all the way round the boundary trying to get in. So disappointing,

A large urban park located just outside the Centro Storico district, named for Giuseppe Garibaldi. There are four entrances into the park, the main being across the street from Palazzo dei Celestini. Located inside are wide boulevards lined with trees and benches, for sitting. In the center is a pavilion, of 8 columns surmounted by a green enameled dome and a stone cross. Located around the park are busts of famous Salento individuals. There is a large 2-section fountain, with a short bridge and neoclassical buildings. There is also a large monument to Garibaldi. This is a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy a little solitude from the city.
