This is a lovely complex of sacred buildings, beautifully decorated inside, and quiet and peaceful at all times. Well looked after, and impressive in its condition considering its age.

Pieve di Sant'Andrea
Really beautiful church in the center of the town. Very old and really beautiful paintings. Statues and characteristic chandeliers. Open all day with the possibility of following masses three times a day. Beautiful for weddings !!!

Interesting church, dates back 1000 years and nearly all the detail inside is painted rather than architectural. Perhaps more interesting is the tiny chapel in the opposite corner outside the church. Inside you will find an layers of plaster work peeled back to reveal the original buon fresco - very cool

Iseo, on the beautiful lake is one of the most picturesque towns I've visited. There are so many wonderful restaurants and bars (coffee) to sit, relax, and enjoy the views. One of my favorite things to do, here, is to wander these narrow streets and just "get lost" in thought and time.
It's an incredible experience! I'm always awe-struck when I study this stone facade of this beautiful church from the 1500s.

The facade is a history lesson in stone with each passing generation adding another footnote. The interior was,for me,not as interesting.

The Pieve is a square surrounded by three churches the central of which is that of San Andrea. The church and its belfry date back to the 16th century. A must see
