You walk under the Logge overlooking the dark blue Ligurian sea. Also a favorite reading spot. It is located in the Parasio, the old part of Porto Maurizio. In the summertime, they hold concerts under the Logge, even if the acoustic is not the best, the location is hard to beat.

The St. Clara convent dates as early as 14th c. but the construction ended in 18th c. Still inhabited by a handful of old nuns living in seclusion, it has an imposing loggia overlooking the sea from around 100 metres a.s.l. The views are incomparable, unfortunately the loggia is mostly visited by vandals and drug addicts, not to mention stray dogs. A thorough clean-up of ugly graffiti and excrements is badly needed.

The monastery including the old city is perfect for a romantic walk. You will find stunning views and a beautiful old late medieval city with narrow passages and small shops.

this is part of the historic charm of Porto Maurizio. In the evenings it is a great place for a romantic walk with breathtaking views, during the day a great way to enjoy the views and take some wonderful pictures

There is no better place in Imperia to truly appreciate the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The panoramic views, complete with sailboats and beaches, are a photographer's dream.

As of this writing, only 6 nuns inhabit this convent and they have the best real estate in Porto Maurizio. The loggia itself is art photo worthy, and then add in the stunning sea views, and you have the best overall spot in the city

The Lodges themselves are not much of a construction, but certainly the scenic location is gorgeous.
Then for photography lovers, the light effects of the arches create wonderful photos.

Excellent location for photo shoots or simply for romantic encounters, a medieval place with sea view, a place that gives romance and a leap into the past. Thrilling.
