This 'small' palace, badly damaged by the 2012 earthquake, has some of the most beautiful Renaissance frescoes you'll see anywhere. Right now only two rooms are open, incl. the Salone dei Mesi with the frescoes. These 15th century paintings are unfortunately not in good condition,...More

This palazzo consists of one large hall covered in frescoes. Good in combination with neighbouring museums on the MyFe card, or for fresco-freaks.

We arrived early afternoon in August and started with a late lunch in the lovely garden cafe. Then up to the main gallery and the frescos. Hardly any other visitors despite the season, lots of time to sit quietly and view the beautiful works. Not...More

In our minds, this was best of Ferrara's palaces housing its most impressive collection of art and artifacts. We had a great time.

I love frescoes and will take any opportunity to seek them out in their original setting. Thus we ended up at this palazzo. Some are in good condition and really lovely, some are badly, probably irreparably damaged. Those in good shape have so much detail...More
