A wonderful, gorgeous place. I am pretty sure that Heaven looks like the palace’s gardens. A place where history meets the bitanical gardens...

Beautiful castle with gorgeous grounds. That's the end of the good things about it.
The room was big but nothing special, the bathtub didn't work properly. There were multiple weddings and events, which meant that several parts of the grounds were off limits for hotel guests and that we weren't able to sleep until 2am on either of the 2 nights we were there. To make matters worse, on the second evening, when we saw yet another wedding setup, we asked reception to move us to a room away from the party, as it was just next to our room. They assured us there would be no noise after 8pm, then proceeded to allow the party to go on until 2am. We have 2 children aged 6 and 8, so packing up and changing rooms after they were asleep was not really an option.
The restaurant portions were small and not that great and their staff was not very friendly - they were not rude, but seemed always rushed, not on top of their stuff and definitely not friendly.
We will not be back.

The staf is lousy and unfriendly. But worst part is synthetic bed covers, for which I am allergic. Never expected in such a hotel to have synthetic material, i slept on the ground Floor. Management says They van do nothing about it. I have to stay for another 2 nights here because of our reservation. Bleeeeeh….

Wow ! I loved this charming hotel which is a former castle, and the owners have renovated it brilliantly by keeping many of its original features. I would imagine it was just like staying in an old castle several hundred years ago, but in the modern day. My room was very comfortable with a nice bathroom. The bar area and restaurant were very nice. Lovely grounds for walking in nicer weather and plenty of parking. I should not forget the lovely staff who spoke great English, and were very helpful.
It’s a pity my stay was for one night only. Hopefully I will get the chance to revisit again sometime soon.
