A very well done museum combined with a walk out to the church and the pillar well worth your time. In mid May we were the only ones there. There is no cost to browse the museum or walk the area. Church dome is a must see.

Due to the weather we were completely alone. They even put on the lights in the museum for us. A museum much more modern and interesting than we expected. It was even free (and, weirdly enough, hadn't seen more than twenty visitors in a couple of days). The raw weather made the visit to the archeological site a bit special. You can walk it, it is close to the museum's parking and the park itself is well maintained. If you are in Crotone, invest an hour or two in visiting this. The ancient town was absolutely massive for its time and remained relevant through the Roman Empire.…

We made the trip down to Calabria to explore my husbands family tree. Staying at a beautiful castle we drove the 25 minutes to crotone and then to see capo colonna. Ancient Greek and roman ruins. An archeological jewel. The museum houses amazing relics from the Grecian era including Doric column pieces, urns jewellery architectural features. Well worth the visit. But it is a pity there is nothing in English to help describe. …

Boring place, there is absolutely nothing to see a part from a pillar, a tower and a church. Nice view toward the sea and that's it. Disappointing place, at least you don't have to pay any ticket.
