Really enjoyed our visit here. The person who admitted us really knew the museum and gave us lots of information in English. Especially helpful as only one of us spoke Italian so a special thanks to him for his knowledge and enthusiasm.

Recommendation for visitors: take the usual photo of the famous column... but take time to stay inside this museum. Well done, very clear panels, interesting finds. Friendly staff and also available to give some explanation. I would only ask you - if you have small children - to ask them not to run. The way the museum is structured, a large single rectangular room, too lively children are not very suitable for this visit. They could run and do damage. But if you are with quiet children, or with friends, or with others... enjoy it calmly, because it deserves.

A very well done museum combined with a walk out to the church and the pillar well worth your time. In mid May we were the only ones there. There is no cost to browse the museum or walk the area. Church dome is a must see.

Boring place, there is absolutely nothing to see a part from a pillar, a tower and a church. Nice view toward the sea and that's it. Disappointing place, at least you don't have to pay any ticket.

I am no longer a huge fan of museums, but I certainly did love this one. The Greek history of the area was fascinating and the museum did such a good job of explaining it all. The park and ruins outside are also interesting. Nice to walk around.

Not much left physically, but a lot of Nature, and a lot of space for imagination. The museum nearby is worth a visit too, very friendly staff.

Due to the weather we were completely alone. They even put on the lights in the museum for us. A museum much more modern and interesting than we expected. It was even free (and, weirdly enough, hadn't seen more than twenty visitors in a couple of days).

The raw weather made the visit to the archeological site a bit special. You can walk it, it is close to the museum's parking and the park itself is well maintained. If you are in Crotone, invest an hour or two in visiting this. The ancient town was absolutely massive for its time and remained relevant through the Roman Empire.

We made the trip down to Calabria to explore my husbands family tree. Staying at a beautiful castle we drove the 25 minutes to crotone and then to see capo colonna. Ancient Greek and roman ruins. An archeological jewel. The museum houses amazing relics from the Grecian era including Doric column pieces, urns jewellery architectural features. Well worth the visit. But it is a pity there is nothing in English to help describe.

Although the ruins are not very important and reconstruction has not been very exaustive, the spot is amazing and worth to visit an important religious center for ancient Greeks. If you like the ancient world I´s a must. There is also a very interesting museum on the entry!

Right out on the cape is the archeological site and museum which are worth a visit. It had just been cleared of the spring flowers so easy to see the site. Lots of birds to see as well
