I'm sure it has much more than my tittle but i could find much historical data of interest. You cannot miss it , its just there in its majesty holding up the sweet village.

Although Cortina has some nice typical Alpine houses, which reflect a history of the town and give town a view of an authentic Alpine village, there are not many attractions for history lovers. Nevertheless, it is nice to have a walk in this town (in the walk-only zone) to feel the Alpine views on surrounded Dolomite mountains on one side... More

Definitely better in winter snow, but a fine little town in summer too. Do not expect Vail or Aspen however. Small city center, some fun shops, especially Due e Due and High Everyday Couture which are extraordinary. We were there for the extreme North Face running event. The big thing is the fascinating, twisted mountain roads. Driver heaven. Quite a... More

If you come here to ski, then this is a fantastic site. Lots of hotels around the center of the town. If you do not ski, you can enjoy the many boutique shops, which are in this center area. We did not try any of the restaurants, coffee shops were very good.

The city centre is wonderful but a bit posh. Cortina seems to be the place for a winter holiday. Check the church with its bell ringing every 15 mins.

Very nice town, lots of beautiful shops, the cooperativa has better prices for liquor definitely buy there before going back to the airport; there is a beautiful church to attend mass, get married or renew your vows, plenty of ski rental places, good value for merino wool and cashmere sweaters; if you are looking for beautiful unique jewelry you won't... This is one place where you can just go and enjoy the ambience, views and township by just walking and soaking it all in. Plenty of variety to choose from for a cafe, lunch, dinner or drink. The shops are delightful and the surrounding countryside and scenery just stunning. Go and just enjoy

I've to admit that we missed a large part of the Cortina as we went straight to the east side of Cortina to find food. But what a blessing in disguise! The east side of Cortina is equally beautiful too. Every house, road and corner of the village is so special and full with characters. The village is so quiet... More

Cortina is a gorgeous town- full stop. You don't have to be beautiful, dressed impeccably, and have a cute dog on a leash…..but it doesn't hurt! You'd be in good company here.

Lovely town - I had to stop here on the way to my pre-booked overnight at a mountain "rifugio" to pick up some supplies at the Cooperativa, and found myself wandering through the cobblestoned town center taking pictures. Once you identify the "business" side of town with banks & grocery stores etc." that surrounds the pedestrian zone it's much easier... More
