Magnificent landscape

We walked through some of this park as part of a seven day Dolomites hike. Even though we had some snow in September, it was still spectacular and worth the effort. The trails were in very good condition and the rifuges were excellent.

Wonderful for a walk

We parked and intended to take the trail to Cinque Tori. About 2km according to the signage which sounded perfect. We set off and we’re very happy with the trails that were cleared enough to navigate easily. However, while we aspired to follow signage as there was; after considerably more than two km and some google maps help we turned around to go back to our car. Still, a beautiful part of the world and blissfully quiet!

Stunning Natural Beauty

The Dolomite range is special, beautiful, and quite different from mountain ranges I have seen in North and South America, Africa, Asia and elsewhere in Europe. We drove and took short walks, but saw many backpackers and bicyclists.

Great scenery, many hikes!

There are a large number of hikes you can do here, although the signs in some of the parking lots are misleading- you can really just do whichever hikes interest you most, you do not have to follow the paths they suggest. It is very beautiful and very crowded as well, so if you hike earlier in the day you will avoid the bigger crowds!

stunning mountain scenery and cable car trips up Tofana and Faloria mountains

Tofana is my choice highlight as Faloria last part is a difficult slippery scree path to the near summit and back or a scary 4x4 vehicle ride. Cable cars get nearer the Tofana Cima top with ample cafes. Faloria does have two cafes as well.
