Prosecco Wine Tour from Venice

85 reviews
Spend a day in the picturesque Veneto wine country just north of Venice—a rewarding region that can be tricky for visitors to access. A driver and guide handles the navigation and selection of winery so you can soak up the scenery of rolling hills and sip sparkling Italian prosecco straight from the source. Top off your taste buds with an included winery lunch.

Loved this little castle, it is quaint and a great place to visit if you are in town. The tower has a small entry fee and lots of steps to make it to the top. Once up on top, you get the best view in town!! A great place to get a sense of the area...

We decided to walk up to the castle which was just about manageable in 33 degree heat. Worth the walk, excellent cafe/bar/restaurant in the grounds of the castle with a well needed cold drink. Castle is interesting but the views are what makes it!

One can take the walk up to the castle by following a thick brown line paiinted on the ground near the main square. the line goes up all the way to the castle and one can view some lovely scenes on the way. Lovely houses and peaceful surroundings.! Upon reaching the top, nice views from up there of the town beneath you and the mountains at the back with some snow on them. ~We did not enter inside the Castle as the view from the grounds was quite enough for us.

A short walk from the main piazza (uphill) or drive takes you to this castle on top of the hill. Great views of the mountains and a lovely garden to stroll through. We missed going inside as we visited during the long lunch break.
