Very unfriendly and grumpy old man who gives no explanation about the riding skills, the horses nor the area during the tour.
Easy money for a one hour trip.

Only positive is that the horses are in very good condition. Other than that not much positive to mention about this place.

Hello, i am sorry that you had not nice experience. Just may be next time try to follow instructions without "creativity" meanwhile you are on horse. Is very serious and responsable activity for us to bring you and your children around. safety is first. best of all Andrejs

I Highly recommend this experience, it can be either romantic and adventurous, you can see the beautiful Tuscan sunset and the personnel is polite and attentive, although English is not their first language.

We loved our ride to Lake Chiusi
Sep 2017
We highly recommend this operation. The horses are healthy and well loved they are also well trained and friendly. This is a tour that beginners can do and was pretty and enjoyable. This is a cut above other stables. Just be sure to get good directions and WATCH the directions video they send to you BEFORE you try to drive there. The last turn was hard for us to find. Luckily they sent someone to find us on the road and direct us back to an enjoyable day ride.

Disappointing

Another standard 1 hour strolling around at slow pace. Disappointing when you ask for a 2 hours fast pace tour. On the bright side, the surroundings are very nice and at least you pay for a nice view

Took my wife and two kids (ages 11 and 13) for a two hour horseback tour of the hills above Chiusi. Booked the tour via email (from the website) the day before. Owner was very responsive and flexible over email and scheduling was easy. Place was quite difficult to find - not marked real well - but a beautiful spot once we did find it. Is clearly much more of an equestrian school than a tourist place. Horses are beautiful, obviously very, very well cared for. Were Italian kids there taking lessons/classes while we were there - seems to be their main focus.

We signed up for a 2 hour ride. Neither of my kids had ridden before. We dealt with two folks; one older fellow who I assume was the owner, and a younger guy that I assume worked for him. Neither spoke English particularly well, and perhaps - at the end of the day - that was the problem. They put us into our gear, helped us up onto the horses, and we headed out of the camp area single-file. The guide in the front held held my younger son's horse via a rope, and the one in back did the same for my other son's horse. There was zero conversation, zero pleasantries, zero "guiding" of the tour. We had no idea what we were seeing, where we were going, etc. There was no training in terms of how to start/stop, turn, etc...probably because they had no intention of letting us control the horse. Felt much more like a preschool processional with children being led around on horses in a circle. While my kids were excited for the first ten minutes to just ON A HORSE, when it become obvious that we were just being led around in the countryside, they (and my wife and I) became extremely bored. I ultimately was able to communicate after 30 mins that we were done - no need for two hours. They didn't ask why, didn't attempt to see if there was a problem, etc...Just took us back. Then told me the charge was 140 Euros. They somehow ONLY TAKE CASH, so we then had to drive back into Chiusi and find a cash machine, then drive back.

So, if just being led through the countryside single file with no real control of any kind (or conversation, or "tour guiding") is ok with you, then perhaps this is what you are after. If you want to actually be able to control the horses a bit, be given some explanation of where you are or what you are doing, I'd recommend finding something else.

When me and my boyfriend arrived in Tuscany, I was determined to get back on a horse again and do some sight seeing.

We ended up at Maneggio Tre Laghi (which ended up to be a good choice!). I called the day before and could already arrange a trip for the next morning. On the phone I mentioned that it would be the first time back on a horse since 10 years, but he mentioned that this was no problem at all.

When arriving at the Maneggio, everyone was very welcoming, although not everyone could speak English. I could immediately see that the horses were in good shape and very well taken care for.

Then of course, the trip! I agreed to do a 1 hour trip in the surroundings of the Maneggio. We visited vine yards and strolled through the trees and fields. The horse was very well behaved. Anyone, even when you never sat on a horse again, could have rode this horse. She was a sweetheart, and that for a 6 year old horse. Amazing! Besides that Thomas trained his horses very well, he was a great guide in the sense that we only went faster when I wanted to. If you want, you can do the whole trip in a slow pace. We saw some deer and also got some fruit during the trip.

If I would have had more time, I would definately have booked one of the longer trips (for example, across the lake). Even my boyfriend somehow regretted that he didn't join the trip (never rode a horse before, but was convinced that the horses were so relaxed that even he could have rode them). Thank you Thomas for the great trip! I can definately recommend this place to everyone!

Horse ride to lake Chiusi

This is an idyllic, beautifully run little business - and we had a fabulous ride on comfortable, forward going horses through stunning Tuscan hills with plenty of variety. It was too hot for a fast ride though we had a couple of nice little canters. There are many different rides you can do depending on your ability. Molto simpatico!

My Fiancée and I did a 2 hour ride with Arnolaldo (spelling?) and had a lovely time. We went through vineyards, field and by Lago di Chiusi and had 2 excellent horses.

Arnaldo was friendly and helpful and the horses were exactly the same and easy to ride (I have no experience and found it no trouble at all). I would definitely recommend this as a great way to see a bit Tuscany.
