The water is warm and the sun is lovely, but the beach is very, very full in summer months and weekends. It is somewhat difficult to find a place to put your towel and some of the shore is devoted to 'private' places with lounge chairs. The water is pretty clear, but it was disappointing for me because there were... More

A cross between Venice and the French riviera but very slow paced Great scenery and beautiful old town with exquisite back streets if you like florence and Venice you will like this. Beautiful warm clear sea with sandy beaches Well worth a visit

The Cathedral was built in 1131 by King Roger 11. He also commissioned a sarcophagus for himself but he died before the Cathedral was finished so it is now in Palermo. Inside the Cathedral the nave has 16 columns with Roman capitals surmounted by Gothic arches. Well worth a visit.

Cefalu is a great walking town. You can start in the old town and walk your way thru, passing many shops, restaurants and the beach on your way to the new section of town. Along the way are wonderful places to eat and shop at.

Walked the scenic boardwalk and ally ways. Because of summer the beach was covered with bright umbrellas and sun soaked people. A memorable visit.

The beaches at Cefalu are a sandy heaven, warm calm waters, good for swimming and even an occasional surf session! If you are in the area don't miss it.

The Cefalù coast is amazing I normally go at the very end of the "lungomare" far from the city centre. It's quiet, nice sand and water is always very clean. Sometimes it's a bit wavy but it's all fun for me.

We have stayed in Cefalu half a day. The beach is sandy but crowded at the point that you can not even swim. The city well... Nothing special- only cathedral and itself it is not a super thing to see- better go to Monreale, Palermo cathedral. Prices are higher than anywhere else for a poor quality.

Nice town by the sea side. Plan at least couple of hours to enjoy your cold bier or coffee at the vivacious promenade.
