A cool (no pun intended) place to visit; there was a snake in the water. The sound of running water was very soothing. We were here in November, but imagine this would be a great refuge from the beach on a very hot Sicilian summer...More

This Port is more quiet and has a lovely little beach and a dock where swimmers dive in for swims. Very nice view of Cefalu looking back towards the beach and town with the Rocca looming over.

It's a great spot for a sunset walk through the old port. Enjoy the history, take pictures, people watch, and relax. There are several place for an aperitif or dinner with an impressive view nearby.

The only surviving door (out of our) along the walls of Cefalu. It may now seem just a door but the view over the beach is excellent and a nice spot to take pics. Worth a look.

This doorway down to the beach was apparently one of four at one time. It is quite unremarkable and if it weren't in all the guide books, nobody would give it a second glance.

Friday afternoon's stroll after lunch took us here. Quick walk in the sand with my 2YO son to see the incoming tide reminded me of why this area is sought-after for the views.

Lovely scenery, both looking at Cefalu as looking the other way; to the sea. The two arches give a great decor for photo’s.

This is probably one of the main reasons tourists come and stay at Cefalu, to be able to enjoy the view and more than likely be part of the view too.

This makes a beautiful picture, but go early especially if your visiting on the weekends. The early light about 7-7:30 is perfect and there are not many people around. Late afternoons as the sun is setting is beautiful but along with hundreds of others who...More
