Seven of us were greeted in Livorno by Maurizio for our trip to Lucca. In a clean, Mercedes van we were off for our tour. Maurizio showed us the highlights of the city - the Duomo, the market, the many boutique shops and the most important squares with many restaurants. He recommended a local grocery shop for lunch which was also a restaurant and we all had a great and inexpensive meal of prosciutto, cheeses and pasta.
Maurizio kept us entertained with great stories about life in Italy. He was also very accommodating to our needs as some of us needed some time to rest.
I had used Tuscany Taste Tours in the past and I will surely use them again.

What a spectacular day we had traveling from Rome to Florence via Tuscany with Maurizio! Our wonderful day began when Maurizio arrived at our hotel in Rome and we made our way to a winery in Montalcino. After an interesting tour of the winery, we thoroughly enjoyed a wine tasting at the vineyard’s lovely tasting room. The wines & olive oils were all amazing. We then traveled to a nearby restaurant for lunch. The food was exceptional & the views even more exceptional! (See pics) Maurizio then drove us to Florence where he gave us insights into the city’s history & culture. He brought us to Piazzale Michelangelo for an incredible vista overlooking the glorious city of Florence. (See pic)

We just returned from an all-day private wine tour of multiple vineyards in Tuscany, and things could not have gone better! There was a mix-up with the reservation (might have been my mistake) and the driver came a day early to our hotel — no problem, they came back the next day. Our driver arrived 15 minutes early, spoke perfect English and could not have been more gracious and charming. We planned our own itinerary but if you need help, they’ll gladly make all the arrangements. Can’t say enough good things about Maurizio and his team … our best experience in Tuscany by far!

Maurizio Mancini was professional, punctual, well mannered, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. His vehicle was very clean and comfortable, and he was waiting for us to arrive at the port in the morning. He drove us to Pisa and Cinque Terre safely and shared his knowledge with us about the various areas. Highly recommend and we would book him again when we return to the area!

Truly an amazing experience for our family of 9! They even had a car seat for my 4 year old. We were safely and comfortably taken to see all of the beautiful spots. Best part was a family style authentic lunch! A lot of tours take you to a place where you know you are getting "hustled." Not Mauricio he dropped us off at a restaurant where we are still dreaming about the food. We finished off the day with delicious gelato. Not only was the day exceptional but the communication prior making me feel very comfortable that I had booked a reliable and professional service. I cannot recommend enough five stars all the way!!

Our driver picked us up at FCO airport in Rome and drove us in a lovely, immaculate van to our B&B in Lucca. He was very personable and professional and an excellent and careful driver! The transfer couldn’t have gone more smoothly, and we were so happy that we’d chosen to do a transfer over the multiple trains it would have taken us to get to our B&B and our pillows after such a long flight. Highly recommend Tuscany Taste Tour!

AMAZING! From start to finish, Maurizio was perfect! Upscale vehicle, he arrived at the cruise port early, and he was so charming and so knowledgeable. We went to an amazing winery with wine tasting in the Chianti wine Region (San Michelea Torri), then went to Panzano, and had the most amazing lunch at the prettiest Trattoris there. (Oltre il Giardino). This is a classy tour from start to finish). Everyone will enjoy it! Grazie!

We toured with Maurizio in 2013 and were impressed. I kept him in contacts. We had a great time today; Maurizio is warm, full of information and fun to be with. We wanted a quick tour of Florence for our newish daughter in law who has not been to Europe and we squeezed a winery tasting and lunch and a quick to San Gimignano into the day. No problem!

We tailored our tour to pick us up at the place where we were checking out. David picked us up on time, with our luggage, in a very comfortable vehicle. As he drove us, he spoke about Italy with us. Our first stop was Sienna. We spent some free time exploring the lovely city. He met us promptly at our meeting point and drove us to a fabulous wine tasting and lunch! Then we stopped for the best gelato at San Gimignano. Such a wonderful day! He dropped us at the train station as requested. On time and very happy with the day! Highly recommend this type of tour!

We were on a cruise that departed from Rome on November 1, 2014. On the recommendation of a friend, we were pointed in the direction of Maurizio from Tuscany Taste Tour. We made arrangements for one of his drivers to pick us up at the airport (we were 5 adults), drop off our luggage at our hotel, and start touring Rome. The driver was patiently waiting for us at the airport (took a while to get through customs and retrieve our bags). He introduced himself, lead us to his impeccably clean van and the trip began! Our driver (I believe his name was Christiano), supplied bottled water and some Italian candy during the drive. He proved to be a wonderfully knowledgeable guide and our visit to all the major sites in Rome was a great start to a memorable vacation. A few days later, we once again used Tuscany Taste Tour for a day in Tuscany. Maurizio (with whom I had communicated several times before arriving in Italy and he was always most helpful and responsive) was to be our guide fo the day. In addition to being very easy on the eyes :), he welcomed us like we were family. We visited some shops along the way, had a wonderful wine tasting at a lovely winery, but the real highlight of the day was our lunch at Stefania's. The food and wine was flowing and our lovely host, Stefania, could not have provided more beautiful memories of her home. I have never tasted such mouth-watering food (and I'm of Italian descent), all homemade by Stefania in her kitchen (her home is a 12th century farmhouse, rustic, but beautiful and cozy). I give Tuscany Taste Tour, and specifically Maurizio, a big thank you for making our trip to Italy so special. We loved it so much, we've already booked again for next year! Don't go anywhere else if you want to tour Italy! You will get the best service ever!!!!
