We were on an all day tour of three small towns in Italy when our driver suggested Poggio Amorelli as a good place to have lunch. This lunch turned into a two hour event with wine tastings, cheese and balsamic vinegar an bread. The tastings were ample and the wine was very good. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Italy. We loved it so much we purchased several wines and had them shipped back to the US for our enjoyment. Right before we left we were treated to a small tour of the grounds by the owner of the vineyard and felt really welcomed and appreciated by him. You can't go wrong by visiting this location.

I had a wonderful time with my friends on a day trip to this winery. the views and the grounds were beautiful. the food was delicious. It was nice to learn about different levels of Chianti wine and Super Tuscan wine, as well as balsamic vinegars. I made lovely memories.

We loved our tour lunch, and wine - it was everything we hoped for in our special day trip from Florence, and we still order the wonderful wines and olive oils from them because they are so good. We will definitely visit again when we can go visit Italy again.

When traveling with my family (all adults with our spouses) we came here for a wine tasting and meal. The food was great. The wine was wonderful. The ambiance was amazing! We have continued purchasing wine and having it shipped to the USA. Would highly recommend a visit!

Amazing winery: the location, the staff, and the wine are all 10/10. The pictures you can take here are breathtaking. The tour was intimate and wine selection was expansive.
