Return to Castelluccia represents for me a blast from the past of childhood when with my brother accompanied by our father lived on Sunday after a voyage into history by visiting the Palace. It has always been the garden and la Castelluccia with Peschiera great our passion because we were told of the lives of princes of Bourbon who played and practised military art in this fabulous setting. The shade of the Woods and chiaroscuro of the avenues, the antiquity of the underbrush made of butcher's broom and Brambles passed a scenography by Kingdom of Narnia, seemed short appears a Faun or a shepherd with the panpipes, giant Magnolias stretching their arboreal soil sliding arms, how to raise children with one hand to help the giant wooden climbing. The moat of the Castelluccia has stimulated the imagination and the dream of assaults to the tiny fortress of the heirs, the isolation of the complex explodes running away in Peschiera with its swans, geese, mallards that glide over the water to reach the island. Think that at the end of the second world war the Fishpond drained was used as a stadium for baseball games from the Yankees. I see today and I think that in some places the time has stopped to bring the voices of the past, and invite you to enjoy your time.
