Very interesting and nice place to visit not far away from Naples. Palace has huge parking area under garden in front of Palace ( tricky to find entrance) with reasonable price (1 EUR/Hour). Pack is huge. Place offers internal bus transfer to English Garden (nice...More

Station with train Naples outside the door. Only 12Euros to get in. (Using the Artecard makes it even cheaper/free). Forget comments about the gardens looking unkempt, the palace and gardens are from a time past when the aristocracy spent lots of (our?) money that we...More

The Royal Palace of Caserta is amazing. However, it could be so much better, since the services provided are not up to standards. The credit card machine did not work and we were lucky enough to have cash with us to buy the tickets. Tickets...More

Fantastic Artwork, interesting furniture. Audio tours available. We found nearby Carparking under cover for 2 Euros an hour. The other side of the Railway Station. You must allow time for a walk/or ride through the Park.

Spectacular in its design and grandeur, the Reggia is greatly diminished by the dirty unkempt grounds and lack of care. Approaching the Reggia, you are greeted by an overgrown front garden... full of weeds and litter. You will quickly notice that parts of the Reggia...More

Beautiful palace, but only the renovated part is open to the public. Clearly much restoration work remains to be done. The autoguide is quite informative, but not essential as the notices in each room give you the basics. Useful cafeteria for a snack but the...More

We didn't know about this place when we planned the vacation, but it's very nice to leave Napels for one day and relax visiting this uncrowded palace. In Caserta you can also taste real napoletan cuisine for cheaper prices.
