Very beautiful, clean beach, possibility of renting sunbeds and umbrellas (1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds €25) or using the free beach.
The beach has a bar that makes very good sandwiches, and has shower service (€1 for a shower).
Beautiful sea and the possibility of seeing lots of little fish!
It has a very large free car park (you can find a space until 10am) and then another for a fee (€2 per hour).
From the car park to the beach there are some steps (about 100) but there is a handrail and they are well maintained

Beautiful cove of fine sand and clear water (to visit with wind coming from the north) with access via steep staircase but accessible also with children. The BarAbarca (unique in the cove) is available for breakfast, aperitif and lunch, not too much choice but certainly at moderate prices and with very courteous staff! Possibility to rent from them umbrella and two sunbeds at 25€ (in August)! Or even one of them. Come and visit them because it is worth it.

Small beach with coarse dark sand and pebbles (shoes recommended especially for children)... particular backdrop with water full of fish and shades tending towards green.
Possibility to rent sunbeds and umbrella at the bar where they also have a couple of canoes.
Not crowded.
Don't be discouraged by the over 100 steps, which can also be done by/with children... they are worth it and the effort is worth it!
Parking: one free while supplies last and a larger one at €8 per day... watch out for fines if you park along the road!!!!

The staircase to the beach offers a beautiful view , paid parking ( 8 € daily rate ). Clear water in the morning but in the afternoon the shore was cloudy and dirty, a real shame. Small bar with friendly and smiling staff, great sunbed prices and umbrellas, half answered to the rest of the island (1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds 25 €). Due to the location ce little telephone coverage, Internet cannot be used.

The 102 steps are not difficult, the beach is pebble and easy access to the sea.
After a few meters the seabed is rocky and therefore the water is always very clear.
Possibility of sunbeds and umbrellas at 25€ less than other beaches but shower not included (1€).
I didn't like the buns on sale at the bar.

Both free and paid parking, beach easily reachable only after going down 102 steps 😅, wonderful view. The beach is small and stony with a beautiful sea. It's really worth it. I recommend rock shoes, it's difficult to enjoy the beach without them. The only flaw is the bar. The only bar on the beach stocked with drinks, chips and focaccias.

Capoliveri is in the Elba Island, in Tuscany. There are different and wonderful beaches. In the night you could walk in a beautiful scenario.

Great beach to spend the day. But be aware that you need to walk down (and later up) some steep stairs.
Also please bring your beach-shoes. There are a lot of rocks.
Best snorkling on the left. We saw some nice fishes and even a muray eel.
Clean and clear water.

As our first experience of an Elban beach Barabarca was a good start. Parking under a huge pine tree is a must for a cool car, descent to the beach by a staircase you arrive in a pretty shingle bay with a bar where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas, there is also free beach if you have your own. The bar also provides snack lunches drinks and ice creams at reasonable prices, actually I would have expected it to be much more expensive being the only one and given the position must be difficult to get the goods down there.
Even though it was Sunday and it seemed busy everyone had their own space, no groups of kids making a noise and all very civilised. Water crystal clear but a bit stony underfoot before you get to deeper water. All in all a great beach very recommendable.
