This is one of our annual cycling trips as a family. When the kids were little we completed the circle with them in their bike trailer. Now the lead us around the paths and back to our favorite street calamari stand in the city center. Great area.

Nice original fisherman places - one the laguna which surrounds Caorle, nice spots where to eat fresh grilled fish in a truly authentic atmosphere

A brilliant idea for a one afternoon excursion. Recommended "motonave Arcobaleno", leaving from the main harbor. The tour personnel speaks italian or german.

Undoubtedly one of the last places in all of Italy where culture, food, and Italian lifestyle have remained constant. Venice (of course) is a unique and historical city, but it is filled with tour groups holding up umbrellas, vendors hawking cheap souvenirs, and no real Italians. Venice was sold out 30 or 40 years ago.

Caorle is simple, pure, clean, fresh Italian. The people are welcoming, they stroll la strada with their families at night.

If you thought that Italy has been consumed by globalization, you have not seen caorle!

I wanted a nice quiet town on the coast to stroll on the beach and have a nice lunch . The town is Caorle . Mind you it was the last week of September and the end of season . The beach is long and well kept , perfect for finding shells . I found a nice restaurant with fresh seafood and pizza not far from the point on the break water . I like beaches in the fall and winter , peaceful yet all the joys .

You will likely never taste seafood this fresh and so well prepared anywhere in the world! Clams, crabs, fresh branzino, octopus, calamari....fresh sparkling prosecco to wash it down...in a straw hut on a lagoon replete with nature. Pure, clean enviornment. . .and eat like an Italian (WITH Italians...)

If you like mainstream or chain food restaurants, I'm sorry but this is not for you. If you like unique, high end food prepared by chefs using ancient recipes, this is the place!
