Took a day trip to Brixen/Bressanone from Innsbruck, to get a quick taste of the Süd Tirol. Came upon the cloisters and frescoes by serendipity. A wonder to behold. Incredible that they have held up so well since the 14th/15th centuries.

These clositers, next to the cathedral, are really not to be missed. Beautiful painted ceilings. Sorry, I haven't checked how old they are, but they look to be several hundred years old. Really detailed and clearly picturing Biblical stories.

Amazing structure and frescos, enjoyed the serenity of this place! The city has nice history and food to offer, the main churches adjacent to each other are very imposing and worth an individual detailed visit
