The best street in the city for shopping or for a rest in a bar or on the benches between flowers beds, for half way no cars allowed .

Nice street that in some periods is pedestrian way. It has plenty of bars, stores and restaurants. Also beautiful buildings around and very quiet at night. Sometimes there is a good market with italian products located in this street.

This wide street is enjoyable to walk down, window or other shopping and perhaps stopping at one of the cafés for a coffee or one of the restaurants for a meal.

There are many shops, bars and restaurants in this street and during summer season it's something in between a pedestrian area and a street with traffic.
That's also the problem of the Corso Italia.
I would suggest that the municipality seriously considers to transform the Corso Italia into a real pedestrian area and encourage the development of shops and restaurants instead of betting on two horses.

Many bars and coffee shops to rest and take a chat with friends. Nice palms and flowers and quiet. Leading straight to the beach.

We went there a couple of times, for coffee and cold water, very silent area , I can recommend it to everybody who visit Bordighera.

This is a main street but the bottom quarter of it is pedestrianised - well almost in that quaint Italian way! A few designer clothes shops, several good cafes and restaurants with outside service, two delis, dry cleaners and a very very good baker at junction with Via Europe. Excellent cakes, bread and savourys. A must. Nice ice cream parlour on junction with Via Vittorio Emanuele. Some very limited parking (1 hour but remember to put the time you arrived on your windscreen), plus there's two or three disabled reserved bays - but these are furthest away from the shops, cafes etc! A bit on the steep side if you have trouble walking, but that goes for most of this lovely sea side town. Take a seat at a cafe or just on a public bench and people watch.

The chic point of the town. Very nice at night. Loving for shopping, dining and just strolling around or sitting on the benches enjoying the sight.

For a small, seaside town, Corso Italia is one of the toniest streets in the vicinity. It's a lot of fun to stroll up and down and window shop.
