A very beautiful church that comes with a very interesting history. The catacombs are a must, make sure you leave time tor them. If you are lucky enough to be there for the festival you'll experience something special.

It may not be the most striking basilica you'll ever find but it's at the core of a wonderful town in North Lazio. It is grander than the size of town might suggest but it has a marvellous local feel to it.

There are fascinating displays of the miracle of the Eucharist as well as St Christinas miraculous mill stone and... More

Discovered this Basilica by accident and went on the self guided tour into the catacombs. Well worth the four euro,

The miracle of the bleeding holy bread supposedly happened here and still stains from the droplets are visible on the altar. Very nice church and older altars
