I loved this place. Spent quite some time simply taking it all in and learning about the history of this building and the lovely family behind it. Needless to say I returned several times and purchased a number of wonderful books, all devoured on my trip. This is a must do.

Reading a book among wooden shelves recreate the atmosphere of an old family building, be welcomed with a friend's smile, speak with qualified professionals. Go to Bassano for a book and do not forget the panorama from the Palladio Wood Covered Bridge

This delightful cafe plays classical music, serves excellent coffee, superb aperitivi and good, wholesome lunches.
It's a place to get away from the bustle and noise of the town's squares and the busy ponte vecchio.
It's a great place to use the free wifi to check your emails and send e-cards to friends
Don't miss this place, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is totally relaxing
Oh, and the cafe doubles as a bookshop too !

the interesting library has a back stair where the rail was artistic with asps and then the small solloto had beautiful paintings of Cleopatra and Marc Anthony the people at the library were very proud of their treasures and in the back their was a little garden area. It was the first area to go because it was on the way to the main square and all the shops around it and on Thursday the mercato (market). Just a great way to start the exploration of this beautiful village. Actually this area is on the second floor.

This is a interesting place in Bassano del Grappa. Now, in the ground and first floors it's a bookstore, but in a 'not so far away' time Napoleon lived there for six months, so you can go up to the third floor and see 2 simple but nice rooms and a balcony. In the ground floor, if you ask to the personal, they can open you the exit to the garden.
If you are in Bassano it's an interesting way to spend one hour (or even less).

This library is located in the center of Bassano where Napoleon lived in his time. The building is old, tentuta well and full of books for all ages. From the first step inside the library you can see various rooms, each contains books by category, from children to literature, with many language books.
