It's a long tunnel worth driving as long as you enjoy driving high mountain roads
This is a long 876m tunnel cut into the rock. It is now repaired and open. There is no lighting in the tunnel and quiet a bit of standing water when we went through so we would advise to drive slowly. The easiest access is from the Susa side. There is a small ruined fort at the top which is a good place for a picnic. If you continue, the road is not maintained and rather bumpy so only advised in a suitable vehicle.
