Wow.
Well worth the journey to the top. Really impressive trench and tunnel systems atop the mountain with commanding views across the valley.
Your imagination runs wild thinking about the history of the place.

Very interesting set of trenches, bunkers, etc. from WWI, and it is hard to believe they dug all of them out of virtually solid rock. Informative signage and very beautiful views of the entire Asiago plateau. (Nice place to eat right next to it as well.)
