About
On the road that leads from Arzachena to Bassacutena, between mastic bushes and wrinkled oak trunks, between ancient paths and green hills, our farm extends for over thirty hectares. Inside, in full respect of the seasons, we grow vegetables and saffron and take care of our bees which find, in this area, a perfect ecosystem. The white fences outline the boundaries of the large paddocks that welcome our horses. The Liscia river, which crosses the entire property, is the faithful companion that guides us during our excursions in which we admire the glimpse of a still uncontaminated Gallura countryside. Our horses live in wide open spaces, in contact with the nature that surrounds us, enjoying a peaceful life. We offer horse riding experiences of different durations, suitable for both beginners and experts, adults and children.On our website you can find all the information you need to organize a magical adventure, riding one of our horses, immersed in the beautiful Gallural countryside.

We enjoyed a 3 hour ride through a very beautiful landscape very different from the coastal area. A lovely area along a river, which we entered on several points to let the horses wade through and have a drink. We'd told Giuiseppe that we were experienced riders so we've done quite a bit of trotting and cantering. The horses are very well trained and did not get spooked by the strong gushes of wind.
The stables are beautifully located ( although you do need to offroad for a while to get there.) And we would definitely go back there again should the occasion arise.

We really enjoyed our 1.5 hours riding tour along a beautiful river. The owners were extremely nice and the animals (horses, dogs and cats) seemed well taken care of. It’s not cheap but if you like animals, nature and genuine experiences, do it!

We enjoyed this place so much that we have been visiting the Ranch twice in a week.
From when we 1st arrived we where greeted by Giuseppe and Cecilia who have been absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable seeing than none of us have been on a horse before. The horses where so gentle and obedient.
The excursion organised by Giuseppe through the forests,the views are breathtaking and riding along the river it’s an experience my wife my 6year old son and myself we will cherish forever.
We will definitely return next year.

We were not given great details about safety, just cursory talk. Teens could seriously injure themselves off horse in their excitement.

From a check carried out in our reservations dating back to the posting period of the review we have not found any reference to your person. That being said this is our prerogative explain thoroughly to all our guests how the excursion will take place and all details inherent. No horse is excited to endanger or a child, or a teeneger or an adult. If it was in Sardinia it probably has a wrong center. If you visit our beautiful land, we invite you to visit us so that you actually make tham see the work that we carry out every day with passion, commitment, attention and dedication.

Great family riding trip. I'm not too much into horses but it was a fun alternative after all the beaches. It was a little hard to find on the gravel road;-) Just keep on driving after the sign on the main road.
The staff was very friendly and they had helmets for everbody. Even protective jackets for the kids (ages 13, 11 and 5). The 5 year old had a very small pony, just perfect. The prize of EUR50.- for an hour per person was enough in my opinion.
All in all it was a great experience for everybody, even the 5 year old;-)

Unfortunately, 5 stars are not enough to evaluate what is done here. We went to the ranch for the first time on Wednesday and did the "River Adventure" tour. I haven't been in a saddle for a long time and was a bit nervous and my friend has never sat on a horse. But the nervousness vanished immediately. We are absolutely amazed by the calm and professional manner of riding guide Giuseppe! He completely took away our fears with his pleasant, relaxed and funny manner. Estefania and the girls who help out on the farm are also top notch, just great and lovely people! This place really gives you peace and helps to recharge your energy. Truly a paradise for horse and animal lovers! The horses are absolutely reliable and very sure-footed, they give you a super safe feeling. A lot of value is placed on the well-being of the horses and you can tell what a special connection there is between Giuseppe and his animals! We booked another tour "Under the Wood" on Friday, which was the absolute highlight of our vacation for us, it was unforgettable! We will remember you forever! I hope we will see each other again sometime!

My children (10 and 4) and I had the BEST experience at La Prugnola Ranch last week. My daughter was really hoping to go horseback riding while in Sardinia and the people at La Prugnola were so happy to accommodate us last minute - we booked the day prior. The gentleman was so lovely and took us through an amazing 90 minute ride through the Sardinian countryside and through some lovely streams of water. The horses were super docile and made riding for us newbies very comfortable and pleasant. I would highly recommend La Prugnola if you want to enjoy some horseback riding in Sardinia. These guys were awesome!

We went out for 1 hour ride with Giuseppe and Nadia and it was an amazing experience. They were helpful, kind and had a great sense of humour. One of my friends had never ridden before and was quite nervous but they were understanding and he really enjoyed it.
The horses looked well cared for and were free to roam the stunning local landscape as they pleased.
Highly recommend it.

Nice ride and very good 'real' horses. Beautiful surroundings but be prepared to drive a bit off road although we managed perfectly with our Fiat Qubo. Communication by email was not perfect but the staff made up for that by being very kind. Nice for beginners and experienced riders.
