Wine Tasting and Tour in an Organic Winery

21 reviews
Indulging in local wine is a must when you visit Tuscany—and on this private tour, you’ll go behind-the-scenes at one of the region’s most scenic and esteemed wineries, located just on the outskirts of Arezzo. Learn about organic winemaking processes when you tour the vineyards, delve into the cellar to discover how wine is aged, and finally taste three organic wines, along with locally made pecorino cheese and cured meats.

My boyfriend and I booked this cooking class near Arezzo in Tuscany at a private villa with chef and host Fabrizio. It was fun and we learned how to make fresh ravioli pasta, chicken cacciatore and for dessert Tiramisu. It felt satisfying to eat our three course meal we cooked and enjoy friendly conversation with Fabrizio. Fabrizio was a wonderful teacher and host and we highly recommend his classes and any cooking holidays he is offering for the future. Thank you Fabrizio !!

This experience is fun, scenic, tasty and an overall MUST DO! I contacted Fabrizio about a week before meeting up with my mother & sister in Arezzo to celebrate my mother's retirement. He responded almost immediately (even with the 9-hour time difference) with an easy-to-follow booking process and AMAZING menu options. The place was easy to find (we called a cab - about 30 EUR from the historic center of Arezzo), and absolutely gorgeous - overlooking the hills of Tuscany. We had so much fun cooking with him, talking about his travels, tasting his father's organic wine and of course, the food we cooked. I look forward to him starting his own ristorante in the near future, and fully intend to look him up next time I'm in lovely Toscana. I can't recommend this course enough!

Our family of 6 met Fabrizio at the beautiful farmhouse outside Arezzo. It was truly the highlight of our trip. Fabrizio led is in making an absolutely delicious meal of ravioli, chicken cacciatore, and crunchy tiramisu. Fabrizio is a wealth of Information and shared so much with us, from his knowledge of preparation, ingredients and his experiences all over the world. Within a few minutes of meeting him, we all felt like we had know him for years. If you love fresh, delicious, well prepared food, this is the cooking class for you.

I found Fabrizio online and asked if he was available to come to the villa we were staying at and cook an authentic Italian meal for a 70th birthday party. I was initially worried about communicating through email, but Fabrizio was very responsive and all of the planning was very organized and easy. He arrived to the villa exactly on time and had all of the tools and equipment he would need. The food he cooked was fantastic! Everyone loved the dishes and he was very friendly. I would highly recommend, this was a highlight of our trip!!
