Martina was knowledgeable, fun & charismatic. We had so much fun on our tour! My husband who is not a wine drinker enjoyed himself and found a wine he liked. A bonus is the organic way Tenuta produces their wine!

Perhaps the best vin santo I have tasted. Certainly the best in a long while. So do try the "Supremo" if you get the chance. The other wines on offer are great too - from the oaky, buttery Chardonnay to the 100% Sangiovese Chianti. A great little trip. Beautiful winery and a fantastic spectacle of seeing the next vintage of vin santo hanging in splendour above your head in row upon row of drying bunches.

A group of eight friends traveling in Tuscany happened across the Tenuta Vitereta winery in the Tuscan countryside not far from Arezzo. We had not reserved but were warmly welcomed by Martina Bidini, daughter of the winery owner. She provided, at no cost, a very interesting tour of the wine making facilities as well as a generous tasting of a variety of their wines. We were under no obligation to purchase any wines but did so enthusiastically because the samples were exceptional. I would highly recommend you visit this winery if you are in the area. PS. This is not a paid political endorsement but generally the consensus of this Canadian group.

This organic winery is a little gem near Arezzo, Italy. The owner's daughter sommelier, Martina, personally gave us a private extensive tour of the winery. They just started their harvest just prior to our arrival. We learned so much about the production of wine using time honored traditions. After the tour which lasted at least 45 minutes it was off to the tasting room to try approximately 8 different varieties of organic wines all produced onsite at Tenuta Vitereta. Martina also shared a very limited olive oil with bread produced by her family but not available for sale at this time. They expect to have the olive oil available again soon. I called ahead of time to request our tasting and tour and she was very happy to accommodate our request. We very much enjoyed the time she spent with us. She welcomed us like family. I don't believe they get huge crowds at this winery but the wine is amazing. They produce both sweet and dry varieties of red and white wines. We ended up purchasing 6 bottles of wine which they shipped home for us to the US. I highly recommend visit. Make sure you call ahead.

We called on what was supposed to be a rainy morning to book a tour for the afternoon. Martina made room for a private tour of this amazing winery. The work that goes into making wine the way it was made centuries ago is amazing. Martina and her whole family are Sommeliers, they really respect everything about the process of making wine. Then there is the tasting! We LOVED these wines. We bought some there and are shipping some home soon and can't wait to drink more! You will love visiting here. Ask for Martina.

Tenuta Vitereta was really nice place to visit. We were there with family (two adults, two children). I booked the tour by calling the winery´s number the previous day. Our family was with another group. It was very interesting when Martina explained their winemaking process. After the little tour we tasted most of the wines Tenuta Vitereta produces. Martina was very hospitable and relaxed host. Wines are great. I can really recommend the visit and the wines!

We stayed for 4 weeks at Villa Leopoldina, which is right next to Tenuta Vitereta, and did the tour and tasting four times! The organic, totally natural wine production is at the opposite end of the spectrum from our experiences in Napa and Sonoma, and the results are heavenly. Their Vin Santo (Supremo and Occhio di Pernice) is almost a spiritual experience, and we wish we could have brought more back with us. Martina (the daughter of the joint founder) is an extraordinary young woman. Her passion for the wine and the winery is evident in every word that she utters, and her spirit and enthusiasm is infectious.

I went with a group of friends and made the appointment online. Martina was great! Very friendly and took time to explain the winemaking process and the work of the vineyard, which were really interesting. The wine tasting was also fun! We had a lot of laughs and good time thorough it. The surrounding vineyard and views were beautiful... it's rare we see so much pure nature! Everybody loved it and agreed it was a really good experience for all of us. Arezzo is a beautiful, more peaceful and less touristy area, for which I'm glad I chose to go there.

Martina was great!! She was very accommodating when we had to change our plans from one day to another, and we had a great time chatting with her about her recent achievement of Sommelier as well as the wine and the Passione di papa vin santo.
