Better than this is to go to burzi antiquariato, Corso Italia, 22, Arezzo AR, Italy.

The antiques he has in his stores will make you weep from their beauty. Wish I had a big villa in Italy and fill it with his antiques. Fell in love with one piece - huge library (it was too beautiful to call it bookcases) that filled an entire wall.

Definitely a place to visit, dream about, and perchance, to purchase a beautiful find for your home (I did, though I'm not telling what).

Something for everyone at Arezzo's monthly antiques fair
Oct 2015
The first Sunday of the month sees the streets and piazze of Arezzo filled with stands and antiques of every description. There is some really beautiful furniture, but also a miscellany of odds and ends from a surprising number of old Marilyn Monroe posters to fur coats to chandeliers o military medals. Even if you are not interested in shipping home a table and 12 chairs, it is a fun way to spmd an afternoon.

Comprehensive, mid-range, outdoor antique show
Sep 2015 • Couples
The antique fair is held on the first weekend of each month, and this month coincided with the twice-yearly Giostra del Saraceno. This meant that the fair had to be moved - from the Piazza Grande to the park at the top of the town. We walked round on the Friday evening, with plenty to see, then came back on the Saturday when things were fully open. This is the place to see a full range of mid-market Continental antiques. We noiced that the town and estaurants of Arezzo offer the dealers a free meal at the town hall on Friday night - a nice gesture.

Mark it on my monthly Calendar, and try often to go for the weekend
Sep 2015
It goes by the advertising that it is th biggest Antique market in Northern Italy. The whole city contributes to the weekend tourists by having longer opening hours, special menus, and other events which could interest foreigners. Demonstration, tasting, wine presentations, are some of the things you will be offered.
Good place for furniture seeking, kitchenware, vintage jewelry.

In September, it's held near the Duomo
Sep 2014 • Couples
We've done this fair several times and always enjoyed the great variety of items for sale. It is normally held in the main piazza and surrounding streets, but in September there is a jousting event held there, so it is moved up to the top of the hill near the Duomo. This actually makes it easier to walk once you've made it up there. This is also the month of their largest fair according to their website, but it seemed smaller to us, but just as enjoyable.

One of the highlights of my Tuscan road trip
Mar 2014 • Solo
You could bring home a small plastic reproduction of Michaelangelo's David from one of the tourist vendors in Florence. Or you could take a short train ride to charming Arezzo, browse the hundreds of stalls lining the idyllic streets and piazzas at the monthly antiques market, and return home with a far more unique and authentic souvenir (or two, or three, or "I'm going to need to buy myself one of those gorgeous vintage suitcases just to carry all my other purchases…")

Arrive early. Practice your best Italian haggling. And do tear yourself away from the antiques for long enough to check out the stunning frescoes by Piero della Francesco in the basilica of the same name.

Entertaining day trip from Florence
Apr 2014 • Couples
If all the factors align for you,a day trip to Arezzo during the antiques fair is a wonderful way to spend your time. The fair is on the first Sunday of the month and the Saturday preceding that Sunday. A little confusing because sometimes that puts the Saturday in the preceding month.

A one hour train ride from Santa Maria Novella to Arezzo on a nice day turned into a wonderful experience for my wife and me. The selection of merchandise spans a broad spectrum from junk to truly impressive antiquities, and virtually everything in between. People watching, a beautiful old town center, Piero della Francesco frescoes (San Francesco), and an impressive Duomo, not to mention the something that you are bound to buy.

Eat a nice afternoon meal, hop back on the train and the day is complete.

Magic of the past
Happening at the last sunday of the month, Fiera is the gathering of art and history in heart of Tuscan. You cannot imagine the diversity of the imtems on the market from 18th century furniture to 70s Chanel and Chloe bags. If you are looking for something in particular, specifically antique furniture, you need to be in the market early as the catchers fron around cities would be in town from early morning.
